The Bari regional football team has opened the regional football tournament for Puntland with a 1-0 victory over Nugal.
The winning goal was scored by Fuad Abdirashid Dable in the 59th minute of the second half with the help of Mohamed Mohamud Saqrawi.
The Bari region team was playing with 10 players in the second half, when one of their players was sent off.
The President of Puntland State of Somalia HE Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamud (Sh.M.Network) has today inaugurated the Puntland Regional Football Tournament in Garowe, the capital of Puntland State of Somalia.
Group ‘A’ includes Nugal, Bari, Sool, Sanaag and Haylan, while group ‘B’ includes Mudug, Karkar, Gardafuu and Ceyn.
The Puntland regional football tournament will last for 15 days.
